Designer
As co-founder and lead designer Malcolm's unique style, and his creative approach to life in general, form the foundation of our line and our fun studio environment.
Malcolm's style is hard to categorize with its modern, yet approachable aesthetic. His multi-cultural upbringing, eclectic interests, and a love for pushing the boundaries may tell part of the story. Malcolm also has a rare ability to tackle any project with everything, yet not take anything too seriously.
Our products are a unique fusion of his progressive perspective with a practical, problem solving industrial design background- all fueled by his infectious energy and a love for adventures both in, and out of the studio.
Malcolm seems to be on a personal mission to explore every corner of the world and meet all the characters he can along the way. He recently rode his motorcycle from Atlanta to Halifax, Nova Scotia, and then across country to Seattle, next he's heading for Mexico!

Go-getters and jet setters: Your accessories have arrived.
Everything we make has been inspired by the needs of daily and distant travel. You will find features and layouts in our products that could only be created through miles of day-to-day city trekking and a few globe-crossing jaunts. When you take a creative approach to work, travel and life- your accessories should do the same.
We don't believe in doing anything that we can't proudly stand behind. That approach means that you get products that will last and you can feel good about supporting. You will find custom hardware, clever features, and attention to detail. We use modern, PVC-free materials like coated canvas, natural linings, and PU trims. The result is products that are sturdy, stylish and animal friendly.
Moving On
It’s been an incredible ride but it’s time to bring the Malcolm Fontier line to a close.
We would like to say a huge ‘Thank you!’ for your support over the last few years. The thing we will miss most is the great interactions with all of our interesting customers. You are an adventurous group of go-getters and jetsetters, which made this an incredibly fun venture!
The plan is to wrap things up by the end of the year. We’re clearing out all remaining inventory so, if you need some gear grab it now.
Where one adventure ends, another begins. We are very excited about what lies ahead and we hope the same for you.
