Great Bag....Some Improvements Needed
Very nice feel to the outer skin, excellent lining inside and a great style. Some minor problems however that need to be worked out: the magnet holding the back pocket flap to the bag is way too small and opens when you carry the bag by the handle. This looks sloppy. Also after having the bag for only a couple of weeks, the thin pin that holds one of the spring loaded clasps together is loose and if this falls out, then I will likely lose the clasp. Not very robust design. Finally the left hand clasp keeps catching on an inside Velcro pocket flap which hinders the clean opening somewhat. This is a tad annoying. Fix these issues and you have a great product.
Pretty good bag from a backpack convert
I switched from a backpack to get a more professional look. I have carried it every day for a month.
I like the looks, but dislike the cloth strap and top handle material as it collects dust and pet hair well. It feels great to carry it though. I wish it was more like the bag material. I chose the Black color and this would probably not be as much of an visual issue with the Brown.
Also, it works well, but I did have one situation where the bag dumped over and a bunch of stuff fell out. I don't know if the clip came undone or I thought it was clipped and wasn't.
I wish it had a zipper or some sort of closure under the flap to help keep items inside in all situations. I have started to put another lightweight set of smaller bags inside the main compartment to help make smaller items not fall out.
I use it everyday and don't over stuff it. I think it will hold up pretty well. I dislike how the little tabs at the bottom of the front panel are sticking straight out horizontally now, instead of straight down.
I didn't go for a leather bag to keep weight down, but I would probably like it more if the material was stiffer.
Overall, I will continue using it and like it for now, but think it could use some improvements.

Really glad I bought this bag
It was a post-breakup gift to myself, and didn't disappoint. Reallly well made, a pleasure to carry, and perfect for computer gear. Lots of great compartments for all the stuff you carry around every day.
Great case
I have received several compliments on my new Malcolm Fontier shoulder bag, which in turn gives me more confidence and makes me feel good about how I present myself to the world. I love all the pockets and compartments. There's a place for everything I need when I'm on the go.
happy customer
Over a month of daily use, and it still looks as new as the happy day when I first unboxed it.
I'm pretty hard on my bags, replacing a 2-year-old nylon bag that was falling apart. This one looks like it might outlast every other bag I've ever owned, which given the cost, makes me a very happy customer.
Also, I tend to replace straps with ones from Tom Binh, but this strap was so comfortable I've kept it on and don't see that changing.
